"Never underestimate the power of a kind word,

a faithful presence, or a small deed —

consistently given, they can change the world."

– Inspired by Desmond Tutu

"Never tire of doing what is good." – 2 Thessalonians 3:13

Since February, small Bible discussion groups have launched nearly 40 local MERCY projects - bringing hope, compassion, and healing to their communities through monthly acts of service across the globe.

Here are a few in the month of April:

Simply Unforgettable in Tampa, Florida

This past Friday, the amazing Campus Ministry served again at the Memorial Lane Assisted Living in Tampa, Florida for a campus Devotional, where they got to serve, fellowship, sing, color and play games with the residents!

An unforgettable moment and the highlight of event was one of the residents, a spry 100 year-old lady who  played the piano for everyone. A worker was so surprised and grateful, stating, "she’s never played the piano for anyone else before". 💚

Family Fun Day - NYC

On April 19th, MERCY Ambassadors from Manhattan and Brooklyn joined forces to host a joyful Family Fun Day at the CAMBA Kensington Family Shelter - a safe haven for families experiencing homelessness in New York City.

Activities included face painting (above), cookie decorating, bracelet making, and ceramic painting, as well as an Easter egg hunt and classic games like tug-of-war and sack races.

There is kindness and care in the New York City air!!

Feeding the Old and Young - Phnom Penh, Cambodia

The Phnom Penh Campus Bible Talk led this month’s MERCY project with heart — serving warm porridge to the young and old living along the city’s railroad tracks. Every smile was a glimpse of God’s love in action.

Our hearts were deeply encouraged to see their joy, reminding us that even the smallest acts of kindness can reflect the compassion of Christ.

“Jesus’ compassion moved Him to action and it moves us too.”

Clark Clavel, MERCY Director, Phnom Penh

Congratulations to the MERCY Graduates - Apia, Samoa

Joy and gratitude filled the room as we celebrated the first 2025 graduation of our MERCY Life Skills Program for troubled youth in Apia, Samoa.  Graduates (below) completed the 12-week journey—with jobs or interviews already lined up!

Beyond job readiness, lives were transformed as families witnessed healing, growth, and renewed hope — all to the glory of God. 💚

Preparing for the 16th Annual International Day of MERCY

This June, we will celebrate The 16th Annual International Day of MERCY, with service projects in over 100 cities worldwide—bringing hope, healing, and help to those in need.

In preparation, MERCY Ambassadors in each church will fast and pray the day before their project, asking God to move powerfully through their service.

Nearly 100 MERCY Leaders joined  the MERCY Monthly Global Zoom Call in preparation for this special event.

This is going to be a day of united, global impact!
