MERCY’s HURRICANE RELIEF FUND
We ask you to partner with us in providing relief to individuals and communities in Haiti who are suffering from the most destructive hurricane to hit this small island country in over a decade. It would be difficult for any nation to contend with these conditions, but for a country as poor and vulnerable as Haiti, recovering from yet another catastrophic natural disaster will be impossible without our help.
Winds of up to 145 miles an hour have caused extreme flooding, contaminated the water supply, jeopardized food security and have displaced thousands of people. In the storm’s aftermath, the death toll numbers over 1,000 and rising as more missing are accounted for and waterborne diseases begin to spread.
So many lives are at risk.
WORKING TOGETHER IN PARTNERSHIP
